Current Openings

  • Junior Designer
    Salary: $60,000–$65,000

    At Archetype Kitchens, our Junior Designers are the future of our craft. This role is perfect for someone eager to dive into the world of custom cabinetry, working alongside experienced designers and account managers to bring thoughtful, design-driven spaces to life. You’ll be supported by a collaborative, energetic team that’s invested in your growth from day one:

    Primary Focus

    • Assist Senior Designers and Account Managers with kitchen drafting and design development

    • Prepare estimates and specify materials with attention to detail

    • Participate in client consultations and take clear, organized meeting notes

    • Revise drawings and plans as projects evolve

    • Produce working drawings and complete project documentation

    • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across materials and hardware

    • Occasionally travel to project sites to support the team

    Requirements:

    • Interior Design degree or diploma

    • Valid driver’s license

    • A proactive mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow

    This is a hands-on opportunity to build your skills, learn from a passionate team, and develop a deep understanding of custom cabinetry in a supportive, design-focused environment.

  • Intermediate Designer
    Salary: Starting at $70,000+ (commensurate with experience and capacity)

    Our Intermediate Designers are at the heart of what we do—leading projects, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional cabinetry experiences from concept to completion. If you’re someone who lives and breathes cabinetry and thrives on creating beautiful, functional spaces for clients, you’ll feel right at home here.

    Primary Focus:

    • Manage your own clients and projects from initial consultation through to completion

    • Lead the design process, balancing creativity with technical precision

    • Drive sales through strong client relationships and a passion for delivering value

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution

    • Guide clients through materials, layouts, and design decisions with confidence.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of cabinetry experience

    • At least 3 years of direct sales experience managing your own clients

    • A deep passion for cabinetry, design, and client experience

    • Strong communication and project management skills

    This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, loves connecting with clients, and is driven to deliver an exceptional, detail-oriented experience every time.

  • Service Technician
    Salary: $33–$39/hour (based on experience and tools provided)

    As our Service Technician, you’re the boots on the ground and a key part of delivering the final Archetype experience to our clients. You bring craftsmanship, problem-solving, and attention to detail together to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard.

    Primary Objectives:

    • Execute cabinet finals with precision and care

    • Handle service appointments, including door and drawer replacements

    • Install hardware and complete small cabinetry installations as needed

    • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally

    • Act as a trusted liaison between Archetype and our clients

    Requirements:

    • Strong hands-on experience with custom cabinetry installation and service

    • A high standard of workmanship and pride in execution

    • Adaptability and a positive, solutions-focused mindset

    • Availability for Monday–Friday work, with optional Saturdays

    • Clean Driving Record
